Hokus Pokus, an exhibition that reveals private moments and peculiar family relationships through anecdotes taking the shape in objects, photographs and videos. Theselius reflects a personal history that contemplates possible futures by receding into the past and attempts to make sense of the present through humor, vulnerability and the indefinability of every day life. An absurdist narrative arises through the recalling of commonplace objects having significant memories attached to them that become blown out of proportion.

Hokus Pokus, en utställning som avslöjar privata stunder och märkliga familjerelationer genom anekdoter som tar sig formen av objekt, fotografier och videoverk. Theselius återspeglar en personlig historia som öppnar tankar om möjliga framtider genom att gå tillbaka till det förflutna och samtidigt reflektera över nutiden genom att lyfta fram humor, sårbarhet och det obeskrivbara i vardagen. En absurd berättelse uppstår genom användandet av vardagliga föremål med betydelsefulla minnen knutna till dem som blir oproportionerliga.
